Credit Policy

1. What a credit is

One credit is worth one Indian rupee (₹1). Every workspace has its own balance, shared by everyone who works in it. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between workspaces, and don't expire while your account is open.

Every new workspace starts with 500 free credits, enough to build and publish a first app.

2. Buying credits

Credits come in packs. In India you pay in rupees through Razorpay (UPI, cards, net banking); everywhere else you pay in US dollars through Stripe. The currency follows the country shown at the top of the app - change it there to pay in the other one.

Rupee prices include 18% GST. Dollar purchases are exports of services from India and carry no GST.

3. What uses credits

• AI messages. Every reply from the assistant is metered on the computing work it took - how much it had to read and write to do what you asked. We charge our cost for that work, converted to rupees, plus a margin of 75%, rounded up to the next credit (never less than one). A quick edit costs a credit or two; a big change with several new pages costs more. The exact cost appears under each reply, and you need at least 10 credits in your balance to send a message. A reply is never charged more than your balance holds.
• Generated pictures. Photos the assistant picks from its stock library are free. A picture generated to order (an illustration, a product that doesn't exist yet) costs 2 credits each, on top of the reply it was made in, and is included in the cost shown under that reply. The assistant only generates a picture when no stock photo fits or you ask for one.
• Hosting. Each published app costs 7 credits a day (about ₹210 a month). The first day is charged when you publish; each further day is charged as it begins. Take the app offline and the charge stops the same day.
• Rebuilds. A change that needs your app rebuilt and redeployed costs 30 credits, charged only when the deploy succeeds. Page and content edits publish instantly and are always free.

Nothing else is charged: previewing, sharing, inviting people, downloading invoices, keeping an unpublished app, and your data all cost nothing.

4. Running low, and what happens at zero

When your balance covers fewer than 10 days of hosting, we show a notice in the app and email you. If a day's hosting can't be paid, your app stays online for a grace period of 7 days while we remind you. After that it is taken offline - never deleted. Its data, pages and settings stay exactly as they were; top up and press Publish to bring it straight back.

You can't run a negative balance: nothing is ever charged beyond what you have.

5. Price changes

We may change the rates above from time to time - for example when our own costs change. The current rates are always shown on your Credits page before you spend anything, and a change never affects credits already charged.

6. Refunds

Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where the law requires a refund. If something went wrong on our side - a reply that failed part-way, a charge you believe is mistaken - write to support@stivan.in and we'll put it right with a credit adjustment.

7. Invoices

Every purchase gets an invoice, emailed to you and always available from your Credits page. Rupee purchases get a GST tax invoice with our GSTIN and the tax split for your state (CGST and SGST within Telangana, IGST elsewhere in India). Add your business name, address, state and GSTIN under Billing details on that page to have them printed on it and claim input credit.
